First time back on the court in a bit. Jumped for almost an hour with almost zero knee pain 😄😄 I also almost got a double up. Not sure how I missed that last one...Also of course someone is standing in the way of my ghetto recording zone. I'll take it though. Also hit today: 5 sets of 5-8 barbell back squats, 3 sets of 5-8 barbell hip thrusts, 2 sets of 8 depth jumps, 2 sets of 8 depth drop landings and 3 sets of 6 kneeling pop ups to depth drop broad jumps to box jumps.
Tuesday Training. Set 10 of 20 second sprints/30 sec rest between sets on a 10 degree Incline with a maxed out treadmill at 14mph (Post Training). With all the running I’ve been doing, I need to stick to my fundamentals which has always been SPEED. Speed KILLZ, which I need sprints in my training if I’m going to Deadlift over 700 lbs to work up to 800 this summer. For those of you who are terrified from sprint work.....! Learn to develop your technique from Coaches like myself and those others who are proficient in shorter distances to improve your running mechanics which improves speed and endurance fundamentals. This is important because like I said the other day..... To know INTENSITY, is to know the PINNACLE of your training experience. Practice is the Practice is what my nephew says! Tuesday Training. 600 lb Barbell Hip Thrust x 10RM (No Belt). I have ass for EON’s! A friend of mine kicked me as hard as she could on my ass after this exercise today and she hurt herself. Lol!
