It can be so hard sometimes to take that leap to achieve something we’ve always wanted
The fear of the unknown
The fear of failing
The fear of letting people down
What we forget about is what if we succeed?
What if we achieve everything we wanted?
What if..by achieving our goals, we inspired everyone we were worried about letting down, everyone we meet..to take the same leap of faith to achieve their own goals?
Does that not fire you up? 🔥 Does that not make you want to leap with all your might? 🏃♀️ To know that you tried...that you gave it your all...left nothing behind...no regrets...
To me, the feeling of regret is worse than the feeling of failure. .
Failure to me isn’t actually failure, it’s a lesson in what works and what doesn’t, so that I know next time, what I need to do better. .
So please, don’t be scared, BE who you want to be, DO what you want to do. Leave nothing unknown ✌️❤️😘
“When someone tells you it can’t be done, it is more a reflection of their limitations than yours.” YES!
In the past year and a half that I’ve been on this fitness journey, I’ve had a lot of people take jabs 👊 at me - at my business ventures, my choices…. But you know what? Instead of taking it to heart, I change the perspective and look at the underlying cause of the words.
I understand if you don’t get what I’m doing. I understand if you lack the knowledge. I understand if you have fears about jumping in - I did. I understand if you have a lack of belief in yourself and in turn transfer that to me... I understand.
But…this journey has completely changed my life. It blows my mind to look back at where I was a year and a half ago and where I am today. It’s like day and night.
Other people’s negative opinions of my choices and healthy lifestyle actually comforts me because I’ve been there. I have totally been on that side of doubt, mocking others for making healthy choices. Why? Because I simply lacked the wilpower myself and bringing others down felt good for some twisted reason.... However, my commitment, my dedication has made me a much better person and under no circumstance will I change that for anyone! I need to be true to myself, and THIS is what that looks like - me being healthy, fit, strong and helping and motivating others to work on themselves too!
We are all a work in progress. Life is about balance - I choose exercise and eating healthy because I have an obligation to take care of myself. This body is the ONLY one I’m going to get to live in - and I plan on loving it, not hating it! I have learned to stand my ground and let negativity go over my head. I don’t let the opinions of others keep me from accomplishing the things that I want in my life anymore...Im dking this with or without you! .
As always, if you want to make a change - I’m here to help you! I will teach you about clean eating, providing your body with the nutrients it needs! I will set you up with a Netflix of amazing workout programs that you can do from home, and I will also give you access to my private accountability group!
Message me to join my February group! :)
Talk That Talk Tuesday! In the past, I was one to seek validation from others because I did not quite KNOW who I was or where I was going. Like any human being, I have done some things that I am not proud of and I allowed negative labels to be put on me that I believed. AND, I could not quite understand why God still loved me, gave me grace, and still would ask me the question, "What do you want?" He told me, "I still have purpose and a plan for your life no matter what anyone else believes or thinks. What do you believe?" So, this is for someone...everyone has an opinion about what they believe is a win or what progress in your life should look like; however, they don't know your story nor the hell you went through to get to this part of your journey. Keep Shining!! 👑👑👑👑👑 #BelieveInYourself#DreamsReallyDoComeTrue#Inspiration # #BeEncouraged
