One thing I have noticed this winter is that my increase in body fat this year is making me handle the cold weather ALOT better.
In my super slim days I would get painfully cold - so much that my bones would feel numb.
It used to make me really quiet and introvert, all I wanted to do was stand next to a fire or radiator all day.
Being sensitive to the cold has actually stopped me from doing fun things and wearing some of my favourite outfits.
I would never go swimming because the water wasn't bath temp. I wouldn't play in the sea because anything above me knees would make my body freeze and sometimes on a nightout I would stand under the hand dryer for some time because I thought the aircon was cold (haha that makes me cringe)
I wont even get started on the amount of layers I used to wear!!
Don't get me wrong I still feel the cold but I actually find it quite refreshing now and love throwing on my coat and enjoying the outdoors.
