Early morning flow. Learning to treat myself with tenderness and kindness, no matter what clouds are hanging around. Grateful to have my Copper Wilds to keep myself grounded in ritual. Imma be honest, the venture is self-serving. I'm obsessed with this stuff. I'm an addict selling products to support my skincare habit. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀

One of the best things about nature is sharing intimate moments with other animals. I love seeing how they vocalize, interact and express their feelings in different ways that humans aren’t used to. This was down in Cabo as I got a little too close to a California Sea Lion (not that he cared). Definitely one of the highlights of the trip #neverstopexploring#getoutstayout@gopro
Yesterday, Jesse & I got to spend the morning together up in Harrisburg at Little Amps Coffee Roasters (@littleampscoffee).
I always love looking up from my mug and seeing him looking at me.
I'll smirk and tease and ask him what he's looking at, and he'll just smile back sweetly and say "I like this" as he reaches across the table to hold my hand.
People give us a hard time sometimes about how we look on Instagram - how we are "so cute it's disgusting" or how we are "relationship goals" but the truth is that we both work really, really hard at our relationship... and it's only by the grace and blessing of Jesus that we are together as we are.
We want this feed to highlight all the fun things we are doing, yes. But we want it to be genuine as well...
So that's why I'm here to tell you that after the cutesy "what are you looking at?" / hand holding in a coffee shop / "I like this." scene was followed by Jesse and I talking about our weaknesses and challenges... the things that are hard for us to conquer.
See, we do the best we possibly can to bring really icky and uncomfortable things out into the light so that we can combat them together - hand in hand in prayer and conversation.
It's not glamorous and it's not pretty, but it's necessary and it's healthy... and when you share what's on your heart or when you share those insecurities, they begin to lose their power and you fall deeper into unity and comfort with one another.
So before you tell us about how we are your "relationship goals" or "life goals" or that we are "romantic and sappy and gross" - know that it's not all that sparkly on the inside sometimes... but we do work really hard to make it as radiant and Christ-centered as possible.
Here's our challenge to you - something we've learned and have been working to add to our lives:
If you feel something, share it with that person.
More often than not we make assumptions in our minds about someone else's response or action... when sometimes, it wasn't intended that way at all.
So talk. Communicate.
Share your heart.
It'll benefit everyone involved.

Each and every sunset only happens once. Take a deep breath, whether you catch it during your commute, from your back porch, or deep in the wilderness. Let it remind you of the beauty all around us everyday. @timeforahike shared this story with #trailchat to grab our attention. He says “I remember this night vividly. We were camping along the Pacific Crest Trail in Yosemite National Park, and the mosquitoes were absolutely insane. We were near the bank of what was normally a small River, but it had overflown its banks near a large meadow. While everyone stayed in their tents to avoid the mosquitoes, but Bedazzled and I walked out to the river and watched the sunset. It was another great night on the trail.”
