The Return of Potato Head! - Evie’s always had such a round head, but when she was born we referred to her as “potato head” (in a loving way) because it was the roundest chubbiest face we’d ever seen 😂 obviously it doesn’t take away from how gorgeous she is ❤️
#stagecoachperformingarts worldwide, posted the following link on #facebook , asking us what #advice we would give to our younger selves. What a brilliant #writingprompt . Here’s what I #wrote : https://www.facebook.com/StagecoachTheatreArts/posts/1919099128130832
38 year old me to 11 year old me:
You don’t need to try and fit in. Being a bit “different” doesn’t mean you’re any less of a person. You are you, embrace it! Yes, there are going to be people that don’t “get” you. That’s cool. It’s not a problem. Stand up for yourself. Don’t let the bullies grind you down. I know it’s hard but it’s just a blip. They’re jealous. That’s all it is. Jealous that you don’t have to “try” to be cool. Oh, and they’re nowhere near as bright as you.
Keep up with your #singing . Your voice will take you places.
Keep up with your #reading , and your #writing . You know how to pen a good #story and in years to come, you’ll #selfpublish your own #books .
You know how you love taking #photos ? Keep at it! Seriously.
Whatever happens, respect your #family . Their love for you will never falter. They’ve got your back. They always will.
You’ll have friends. The best. You’ll have to get rid of some negative, toxic people along the way, but you’ll always have your #bestfriends at the end of it all. Don’t ever take them for granted!
#Followyourdreams . Never give up. You’re an amazing human being. (Incidentally, this is what I’d say to our #daughter , Molly, too). @stagecoachwalsall#writer#author#writersofinstagram#singer#photographer
