Summer soup 🥣 a little bit of sunshine doesn’t mean you have to stop blending your veggies. Soup is a beautifully light way to get your greens in summer. It’s easy to make extra for the freezer, take it to work or even use it as a sauce! This is my Super Greens Soup with Crispy Kale Chips that I’ve been working on this week. Can’t wait to share it with you all 🍃 it’s also instalement 2 in the @thelittleplantation food photo competition 🤞🏻
I get totally lost in this photo. I don’t even know where to start in all this beauty! What’s your favorite fruit and veggies? I’m a huge berry and apple fan. I love green veggies in particular. I try to keep a lot of variety and color in my daily meals. You should make it your business to get 1 of each color daily. 🌱
Winter time calls for squash! This spaghetti squash with turkey meat sauce is the perfect dinner on a cold winter day. A good source of fiber, this is a delicious way to add more vegetables into your diet. Kids will love it too, trust me! Pro tip: pick a spaghetti squash from the farmer’s market instead of the grocery store; the squash is higher quality and makes this meal so much better! #squash#nutrition#winterdinner#wintermeals#dinner#dinnerideas#spaghettisquash#spaghetti
Blueberry Vanilla Cinnamon Almond Butter
⭐️new on the blog!
I love going to the grocery store and walking around the aisles, looking at all the food and getting inspiration for new snacks and meals. Last week, I was looking at all the different kinds of nut butters and I found blueberry cinnamon almond butter. I really wanted to buy it, buuuuuut it was almost $15!! So, since I had everything I needed to copy it at home, I decided to put it back and make some myself.
