first 20 miler is done!!! I felt great the whole time. 🙌🏼🙌🏼 ran into @haileyreinsch at mile 6 😍 and got caught up in a 5K at mile 14 😂 overall it was one of my best 20 milers I’ve ever ran and I am freaking excited about that! 💁🏼 another 45 mile week done! happy Saturday people! 🙌🏼 #runnershigh

5 beautiful miles around Lake Mineola this morning!! I went out to watch a local ironman triathlon and get in some miles at the same time. Amber came with me and we ran around a beautiful lake front where the triathlon was going on. Talk about crazy!! Those people are crazy!! Lol. Swimming 2.4, cycling 112, then running 26.2!!! As if running 26.2 isn't enough??? Lol. For some reason I'm drawn to triathlons and duathlons as well, I've done quite a few, but I'm just not driven to swim and bike like I am running. I usually swim and bike when I'm injured. Lol. Well since my hamstring and hip still hurt, it looks like I might doing a little swimming and biking. So we shall see, I was inspired this morning!! ❤️
25:12 🏆NEW 5K PR!! Ran my hometown mom & pop race this morning with the goal of beating my time from #RedHookCrit5K (27:14), but never would have thought I would shave off more than 2 minutes 😱Also surprisingly placed 4th in my age category 😂 Guess all the long distances from #marathontraining really pays off 🎉Now...time for BRUNCH! 😋🍳🥓
First long run since August. My legs surprisingly held up despite the low weekly mileage since my injury. Though they couldn't go any faster, they should be in good shape for the half. 1 week til Rock n Roll LA.
