I’m currently reading Principles by @dalio.invest it’s already going to be one I revisit over and over again. It’s an amazing book for anyone serious about achieving any goals they set themselves and to live the life you desire. I also very much like this
Reality + Dreams = A successful life
Pain + Reflection = Progress
Right now there’s a lot of pain and I’m addressing some of the pain from the past. Exposing myself to this. Reflecting on this. Reframing. This allows you to move on at warp speed.
This photo is my 5 year old boy. We home school and everything is very much led by Bear. If he has a passion or wants to do something, we run with it. I brought him a new book home to draw in. When we went to bed that evening to read some books and draw he instead asked me if we could “do some mathematics”. It was random but came from somewhere so that’s what we did. As it’s so intrinsic, he wants to do it, he wants to learn, there’s no resistance. When they got too easy he wanted harder sums to do. Yeah he failed and failed and failed and then it clicked and then he moved on and wanted harder ones and to “try” some subtraction. So proud of our son and our choices as parents. As far as gratitude goes I can’t express my thanks enough to the day in, day out parenting @mishelle_bee provides. Thanks and I cannot wait for the day to share that responsibility.
Day one quads and calves COMPLETE 💥 holy heck, my legs are burning! What a killer session to kick off this eight week challenge! I'll most definitely be feeling the soreness tomorrow 😂💪🏼 First time doing standing calf raises, and my calves felt all kinds of burn! Haha! Day one down, feeling super motivated to continue this journey! #sas60
