🌹We Were Born to Serve the Lord.
Serve the Lord with fear, and Rejoice with trembling.
Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.
☆` Psalms 100:2-5 - Serve the LORD with Gladness: come before his Presence with Singing. Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the Sheep of his Pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with Praise: be thankful unto him, and Bless his Name. For the LORD is Good; his Mercy is Everlasting; and his Truth Endureth to all Generations.†
James 4:8, Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.
`Ecclesiastes 4:9,10 - Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.
`Colossians 3:12-14, Put on therefore, as the elect of God, Holy and Beloved, bowels of Mercies, Kindness, Humbleness of mind, Meekness, Longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and Forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on Charity, which is the bond of Perfectness.
`John 15:12-15, This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.💙🙌
True strength is surrendered pride. True strength is humbleness, faith. True strength is not pretending you are stronger on your own, without Me leading the way.
“The Lord is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise him, my father's God, and I will exalt him” (Exodus 15:2).
How is your day going, sister? How is the Lord your song?
