ten hours spent with riding with two amazing women. as medics, they taught me more than they probably know. medicine isn’t a one man show, but rather a team effort. so thankful there are medics and EMTs out there like Ciara and Kaetlin holding it all together.
Got in a great workout because we got out of class early today, followed by a great lunch. This has become a favorite little dump casserole of mine, packed full of veggies and protein. I modified it a bit to incorporate more of the veggies I had in my fridge today. Sliced zucchini and squash with asparagus, shredded chicken, black olives, jalapeños, and green enchilada sauce. Topped with cheese, avocado, and fresh tomato! Yum! #paleo#paleodiet#dumpcasserole#eatright#gethealthy#medschooldiet#medstudent#lifeofamedstudent
This globe serves two purposes, first, as coffee table inspo for the design of my living room and secondly, as a daily reminder of future career/travel aspirations. See, I believe that a dream has to go beyond just the SELF...there has got to be greater motivating factors other than making a lot of money, acquiring material possessions and having a few extra letters after your name. I am motivated by the idea of using whatever God-given talents and gifts to positively impact this world in my own unique way. I aspire to couple my calling to medicine and my passion for travel to provide medical care to children in developing countries with little access to healthcare. 🌍
