Sometimes things get a little swirled up, ya know? Parts of life can be seriously amazing – career is building in a direction I love and experiences are being presented that sometimes don’t feel real. But simultaneously, there’s doubt, distraction and sometimes destruction. Days in a row when the mental exhaustion is overwhelming... which becomes frustrating. And love – self-love, love for this planet, love for others and humanity... love is hard to find. It’s not like these elements of life come and go and take turns, they’re all here, all at once, swirling all the time. So I’m working to understand what I can and understand that the rest will remain ambiguous until the day I die. In this release, I’m beginning to find peace more consistently. Now, if you’ll excuse me and this heady caption, I’m going to go dance.
At the top of my list of things I won’t miss about Lahan: The Motherfucking Ramp! To get our patients from the PACU to the Post-Op area, we had to push them through a hoard of people and then up two stories...108 times...ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHT TRIPS UP THE MOTHERFUCKING RAMP!!! When people at the gym ask Jo and I what we’re training for, we always say, “Life.” This is a perfect example. Dhanyabad, Lahan. We out! #missionsukya#missionpau#wedidit
Mostly just happy that I didn’t drop my camera 🙃
I’ve been following @sav.cummins on Instagram for a long while now, so it was awesome to take her climbing photography clinic at the #womensclimbingfestival this past weekend. Lots of fun hanging in the air photographing @savhappy and hanging out (on the ground) with some talented badass people. The clinic really reinforced that this is something I love and want to pursue more.
