Can lipstick make you look older in a bad way?
Yes yes and hell yes.
Especially in pictures.
Lipstick is the most powerful way to add pop to your face.
I’m no makeup expert but as I get older I’m paying attention to ways to stay fresh and not age myself unnecessarily.
1. Easiest way is to find a light nude or flesh color that has just enough contrast to be different from your face but not so much that it causes an entirely new color palette than your skin tone
2. The thing now is matte. Well, I just can’t pull this off without having 🥐 croissant lips. So I linked some matte options that aren’t as drying.
3. The trick that works best is to exfoliate then condition and then apply. So much effort for a pouty 💋
4. Try face wipes that add a natural glow to wintertime skin, so the nudes look better. I linked my favorite face pads that I've been using for years.
Sharing my five favorite new nude colors - no more needles lip plumper (a bit of irony I’ll share later) lip exfoliator and conditioner - all things lips 👄 hell yes. With the LIKEtoKNOW.it app or the link in my bio.
