Well.... pockets.... one thing always comes to mind when I think about pockets.
Stephens Gambit coat I made is beautiful, I love the fabric, the way it hangs on him and when he moves, it flows right with him. He also had me put ... pockets into his coat. On obvious desire for a thief from New Orleans. And it also makes life so much easier at cons to have deeps pockets that can fit any and everything you need. Including surprises.
The famous pocket story from @denvercomiccon takes place a couple summers ago when stephen surprised the life out of me when he proposed! It was magical and wonderful. Little did I know, I had been giving poor stephen a heart attack all day by randomly reaching into his pockets to get his phone, our cards, chap stick... whatever. He tried so hard to get me to remember he had everything I would need in One pocket and everything HE would need in the OTHER pocket.... but I’m impulsive and ended up reaching into whatever pocket was closest whenever I needed something. I nearly wrecked everything until he pulled my hand out snapping suddenly about just asking him for what I needed. Stephen never gets grump/ moody so that was odd to me but I figured he was just exhausted from the day so I called him Mr Grumpy Gills and we went on our way to get photos on the stage that was set up with our friend @camekocosplay (who I should not was in cahoots with Stephen about the surprise proposal) So, pockets. For day 23 of @juki_club#justsewjan pockets is probably a most favorite memory.
