I FEEL LIKE A NEW WOMAN 🙆🏻♀️ Anyone that knows me is aware that I am NOT a morning person. If you try to get in touch with me before noon I don’t respond. 💤 I’ve always been a night owl and I sleep in late unless I have a class...
But today I woke up at 7 am with my amazing workout buddy @kurtheeren and hit the gym before my classes and honestly I loved it. I woke up and chugged my BCAAs, ate a protein bar, hit back and bis, showered and ate, and then started my tasks for the day.
My energy levels were HIGHER than when I sleep twice as many hours, my mood is improved, and I’m more attentive in my classes... also, I don’t have to worry about squeezing in a workout between my classes and clubs and homework and meals. Definitely going to change my routine ✔️
Some back and bis exercises:
1. Sumo Deadlifts (shown) I had to speed up the video because I do these slow and squeezeeee. Make sure you tilt your pelvis FORWARD so do NOT arch your back. Make sure your abs are turned on and you squeeze them and your obliques. Squeeze your lats as well and keep your shoulders from rounding forward. Make sure your head is in line with your back so you don’t strain your spine. (Aka don’t look at yourself in mirror at the bottom of the movement)
2. Superset rows and cable hammer curls with the rope (the rows video isn’t sped up but the curls video is) •

#throwback to this summer when I was the leanest I’ve ever been so far. Cycling back and forth between cutting and bulking is always fun because there are pro’s to each and it feels like a new experience every time you progress further in strength or aesthetics. But unfortunately there are also con’s depending on your mindset. Most people tend to pick themselves apart when they look in the mirror. Imagine what it’s like for a bodybuilder who is constantly checking their body’s conditioning and what that does to your confidence. You have your highs and you have your lows like any person. It’s just more concentrated on the muscle, strength, and look you’re attaining for yourself. Looking forward to this next cut in the spring because I know it will be my best yet. 💪🏽
