I’m not sure if I love this move, hate it, or love to hate it. Either way, it’s hard!
I’m being challenged in a good way and this program couldn’t have come at a better time. The holidays were tough, not because I was eating 10 lbs of cake everyday but I definitely let some old habits creep in. When I was watching this back I honestly thought about deleting it or redoing it, but you know what...THIS.IS.ME.
I’m super proud of how far I’ve come, don’t get me wrong...like yeah I have abs, but I’m also a real person, a real mom, and I have a little extra skin that hangs or times when I’m not as toned. What are you going to do, you know? I’m not perfect, and I’m definitely not trying to be. I never want to ONLY put my “best stuff” on social media and give people an unrealistic view. Real women are never perfect and perfect women are never real✌🏻

Want to know the biggest secret to becoming more flexible? 😉 I promise it really does the trick! It’s a neat little exercise called commitment.
Commitment is the only thing that will lead to an action which will transform that action into a reality. Committing to little shoulder openers every day, morning or night is the best way to see an improvement in flexibility.
Trying to open your hips? Commit to holding frog pose every day. Trying to open the shoulders? You gotta puppy pose every day. Trying to nail that pincha?Get upside down EVERY SINGLE NIGHT even if you just hold it for a few seconds or with wall support.
We can’t expect to see major improvements if we don’t practice something enough. People often ask how I advanced my practice so fast and that’s the only answer I have really 🙈 COMMITMENT!
Every morning I wake up and dedicate myself to body strengthening. I do a couple vinyasas, holding my planks and chaturangas as long as I can (because I need those the most). Then I do a couple of shoulder and hip openers before trying to hold my handstand straight for up to 1 minute against the wall (moving further and further every time). This 1 minute hold every morning has strengthened my arms incredibly and I have seen drastic improvement in my pincha / handstand practice!
I can’t picture having this strong of a progress if I only work on my strength 1-2 times a week, and same goes for anyone wanted to increase their range of motion. Give it a try, and dedicate yourself to being committed! Because success doesn’t come without it ❤️
Change is not something that we should fear. Rather, it is something that we should welcome. For without change, nothing in this world would ever grow or blossom, and no one in this world would ever move forward to become the person they’re meant to be.
