Still dreaming about these beautiful vineyard views from last weekend’s terrace tasting at @JosephPhelps winery in Napa Valley. If you’re visiting the Valley I can not recommend this tasting experience highly enough... the tasting room and terrace are beautiful, the wines are superb and the views are 💯.
Right before sunset in Bonaventure. This cemetery is consistently rated one of the most beautiful, and it’s easy to see why! Originally part of a plantation, the family plot from the original owners still lies near the middle of the cemetery.
Not every day you see a whale shark surrounded by snow and icicles! This is one of Toronto’s many awesome murals that I found last month on David French Lane, proving it to be one of the best cities in the world for street art (in my humble opinion...) 🦈
Flateyri was my absolutely favorite town that I visited in Iceland. It was really small, but you can't really beat a view like this! That said, next time I go to Iceland I hope to have more time to explore the Westfjords.
Back in November I checked this beauty off the good ole bucketlist! About 10 years ago a friend of mine had mentioned Havasu Falls to me and after doing a little more research I was determined to get there. As many of you know getting a permit is no easy task. But that's only half the "battle". Havasupai Village is in the bottom of the Grand Canyon and an 8 mile hike to get to (and then another 2 miles to the falls/campground). We stayed in the village at the lodge (highly recommend since you won't have to hike camping gear in). Most people hike in and then try to helicopter out but we were there off season and didn't know if the helicopter would be running so we took the helicopter in and hiked out (my mental block made the hike a lot tougher than it is but I survived). Overall it was an experience I will never forget and one I highly recommend people doing. It's a truly magical place! Do you have a destination that was "challenging" to get to and would recommend to others?
