Having the opportunity to be part of the ING booth in the women in tech conference 2017 is one of the best moments for me. It will always be my passion to empower women all over the world. ^Noha. #WerkenbijING#womenintech#empoweringwomen
Coming up to the next phase the actual Development of the web
So it took me around 4 to 5 days for developing a customized CMS. It might take less or more time for you guys depending upon the language, modules, design and other factors.
This 1 is done in PHP/MySQL & will act as a foundation I ll be using for similar projects with slight changes for future work portfolio. Coming up next is the testing & Q/A phase 🤓
Oh & Happy Thursday 😊
One wise man told me something, don’t ever negotiate when you are hungry. I was coaching a friend of mind a few days ago, she called me cos she was so nervous about a job she was bidding for. .
I told her this ‘Clients can smell your fear from miles away’ don’t go into a meeting doubting yourself. She said but I don’t know this and that, what if he asks me a question I cannot answer? .
Well, that’s why you need to be extremely confident! Prepare as much as you can but be confident in the value you are offering. .
So I went to fix a wall frame for one of our clients I wasn’t expecting to be paid it was a Favour, when I was leaving she gave me this! ❤️❤️❤️ She was just happy that I didn’t just send my staff, I showed up myself. I did that because some clients are just so amazing! And when God blesses you with them you value them too...
Business Tip: Be very clear about the value you offer, how your product or service solves a problem that your customers have. Do this today if you haven’t already. Then own it! #belive
One of my favorite trip photos from one of our favorite trips. Something about the colors... (Going on 12 years together this summer, too!) #WednesdayWanderlust#WanderlustWednesday (From @rtoab post: March 28, 2017) 🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝 Hahaha, here's a throwback to a throwback. I love love LOVE this photo. One of my all-time favorites from one of our trips. Taken basically right before we hit the gigantic mass of clouds that tends to linger along the Washington coastline, the brilliant blue sky was absolutely mesmerizing in person, playing off the blue of the buildings and the water in that bright sun, and this photo just sucks me right back into that memory. (And we weren't even stoned! We enjoyed our Ganja Goddess goodies before we departed Seattle. 😉) #NotAllThoseWhoWanderAreLost#TravelingTech#Memories#BlueSky#PNW#PNWAdventure#PNWisBest#digitalnomads#partakeinadventure#womenintech#roadtrip#America ・・・
A throwback on a Tuesday because I'm a rebel like that. Driving toward then down the Washington coast from Seattle at the beginning of July. We'd just left Lynzie and were on our way to loop back over and see old friends in Portland - great way to see people AND kick some items off our bucket lists. Alan still wants to do all of the coast down to southern CA but at least we did part! What a beautiful drive. :) .
. . . This shot showed the same gorgeously sunny skies we'd left in Seattle. Once we were directly on the coast, however, the temp dropped and everything was cloudy. (If Florida is eternal Summer then the coasts of Washington and Oregon in that area are eternal Fall.) . . .
Today is July 28, 2015. It was July 28, 2006 I went up to visit Lynzie in Amherst and ended up on a movie date with Alan and other friends in Boston. The rest of the weekend we went adventuring from campgrounds in MA to York Beach, ME. We have been going on crazy and random adventures ever since. :) Happy Nine Years of Adventuring, Alan! ^_^ Here's to ninety more!
“Feeling a little uncomfortable with your skills is a sign of learning, and continuous learning is what the tech industry thrives on! It’s important to seek out environments where you are supported, but where you have the chance to be uncomfortable and learn new things.”
